Developer Session: Secure your Bot EcoSystem

This month we held the latest in our Build a Bot series so our developer community could learn how to scale an operation of bots that securely leverage internal data resources.

The interactive event detailed the importance of creating a secure bot-to-resource ecosystem, conducted a deep dive into a real-life authorization workflow, discussed alternate workflows, and more. Watch the replay of the live event here.

Botlight

Symphony currently has 2,000 active bots on our platform. This month, we’re highlighting our very own bot called SymBot, the first Symphony bot built to provide automated support to Symphony users.

SymBot helps you stay up-to-date with targeted community events, product updates, use cases, user support and more. If you’re enabled to chat externally on Symphony, search in the universal search bar for SymBot and connect to get started. Once connected, @mention the bot in a 1:1 chat to subscribe to specific content and ask for help using Symphony. Symphony admins can also use SymBot to file and track support tickets, plus add, remove, and list authorized Zendesk users through SymBot.

For more on how to use SymBot 1:1 and in chat rooms, have a look at our user starter guide and our admin guide for Symphony admins.
