Symphony Heads to Singapore for the Asian Financial Services Conference
Earlier this month, Symphony was able to interact with many premier APAC financial service companies at the Asian Financial Services Conference thanks to the hospitable invite from IDC Financial Insights. Attendees shared best practices, chatted about innovations in the industry, and showed each other what they had been working on. One of the hot topics at the conference centered around the significant increase in IT related expenses across the industry in an effort to be responsive to the changing security landscape and the increase in security related threats.
Can You Hack It: The Symphony and Goldman Sachs Hackathon
On February 28, Symphony co-sponsored Code GS—an all-day, student hackathon hosted by Goldman Sachs in which participants were challenged with creating innovative enhancements to the Symphony platform. Over 100 undergraduate and graduate students joined together from schools across the U.S. to participate.

I couldn’t be more proud of what our team accomplished at Symphony Innovate 2017. We set out with lofty goals to double all our metrics from last year, and we did it! With over 500 customers, partners and developers in attendance, 25 partners showcasing at our tradeshow, and an even greater number viewing the live stream, we were able to share our vision for the future and the role our community of partners and customers will play in it.

The Power of Community Customer Panel at Symphony Innovate 2017 brought together leaders from J.P. Morgan, AllianceBernstein, Kepler Cheuvreux and T. Rowe Price - all companies with enterprise-wide deployments of Symphony - to discuss how to build a frictionless environment for collaboration. Panelists shared their experiences of deploying the technology, increasing user adoption, creating bots, communicating with external clients, and the overall benefits of the platform.

Last week, Symphony was pleased to participate in and sponsor the ANBIMA 10th Investment Fund Congress. We delivered presentations across key topics such as Digital Transformation, Workplace Evolution, Security & Privacy on communication and collaboration. Additionally, we had the honor to host 3 of our Brazilian partners: B3, CMA and Navarra Tech. Each demonstrated their projects to build, integrate and automate processes; leveraging Symphony's open-source APIs and collaborative platform which reaches over 430,000 users globally. Workflow in Focus at Symphony’s Innovate Asia 2019 Hackathon
Ahead of each Symphony Innovate, Symphony celebrates with a series of Hackathons where teams can connect to our community, accelerate creative development, and encourage collaboration in-person as well as online. This year, over 140 developers – our biggest turnout yet! - joined us at our Innovate Asia Hackathons in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Here, teams ranging from global banks to software startups to universities gathered to build innovations on and for Symphony, leveraging our open APIs, unique chat interface and unique security model.
Making the Digital Workplace Work at Symphony Innovate Asia 2019
Yesterday, Symphony celebrated its second Innovate Asia, an event that brought together over 300 executives, developers, and industry experts from 120+ different companies across the APAC community to discuss the new digital workplace, share innovations, and hear about what’s next for Symphony.
This was a landmark day. We not only announced our latest successful fundraise, including new investments from key partners in Asia, but also officially introduced Symphony Market Solutions, our new suite of standardized, licensable workflow and automation tools. Additionally, our customers showed off a range of new use cases, workflows and innovations they’ve developed on top of the Symphony platform.
Ushering in Global Markets 2.0
It is said that good things come in threes. That was the case this past Thursday, when Symphony hosted its second annual Innovate Asia Conference. I look forward to our Innovate events each year; our conferences are becoming a staple of the financial services’ innovation culture, and it gives us all great joy to be able to bring together so many brilliant minds to host a day of learning, sharing, and collaboration.
