Brad Levy is the chief executive officer at Symphony, the leading financial markets’ infrastructure and technology platform.
Prior to Symphony, Brad was a partner and executive at global analytics and information provider, IHS Markit, having also served as CEO of MarkitSERV and global head of its loan settlement and software services division. Earlier in his career, he spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, culminating in his role as managing director and global head of GS’s Principal Strategic Investments Group.
He was recently recognized as CEO of the Year at the 2022 Markets Choice Awards and included in the TabbFORUM 40 Top Innovators in Financial Markets list, highlighting Brad’s deep markets expertise and commitment to driving innovation and tackling inefficiencies in the industry. He had been previously recognized with the Markets Choice Neil DeSena Market Advocate Award for his dedication to driving change as a global leader in financial services.
In November 2020 Brad joined the board of directors of LifeWorks, a human resources and technology company, publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. He has served on numerous other boards within the financial sector and is a sought-after advisor and speaker.
Marie leads and execute Symphony’s strategy in APAC across revenue generation, brand awareness, location strategy, and product development.
Prior to Symphony Marie was Chief Operating Officer at OpenDoor and prior to that Chief Administrative Officer and Co-Head of Sales.
Before OpenDoor Marie spent more than 40 years at the Interdealer Broker, ICAP where she held various senior and international positions.
Marie began her career as a voice broker and was an early adopter of the transition to electronic trading across a variety of capital markets products. She joined the U.S. Treasury Brokertec team in 2003 and was based in Hong Kong from 2005 to 2015 where she held various eCommerce leadership positions including Head of Product and Business Development for the region. In that capacity, she was responsible for building and deploying electronic solutions for various products in several different jurisdictions.
Marie also represented ICAP APAC as an ASIFMA Board member for seven years. She returned to New York in 2015 as the Manager of eCommerce Business Development for the Americas.
Gary Godshaw is Symphony’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and CEO and Co-founder of counterparty mapping platform Streetlinx, acquired by Symphony in Q3 2021.
As the company’s CRO Gary leads Symphony’s commercial organization and execution globally across strategic account management, customer experience, solutions and partnerships.
Prior to founding Streetlinx, Gary spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs, culminating in his role as Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Cross Asset Sales.
Michael Lynch is our Chief Product Officer responsible for Symphony’s strategic product direction including product vision, design, and development as well as user research.
Prior to Symphony, Michael was Head of Digital Workplace Product Strategy at Goldman Sachs.
Before Goldman Sachs, he spent 12 years at Bloomberg where he held multiple product leadership roles.
Alexandra is responsible for leading global brand awareness, building community engagement and enhancing client experience across digital channels. She is focused on creating value for the company’s customers by amplifying Symphony’s innovative technology and partnerships.
Alexandra’s career has been uniquely centered on streamlining front office workflows and technology modernization in capital markets. Prior to Symphony, Alexandra was the Head of the Strategic Client Group in Europe for OpenFin. Her contributions to the technology space have resulted in industry recognition – most recently, she was named one of The Top 25 Women Leaders in Financial Technology of 2021 by The Financial Technology Report.
Krishna Nadella leads Symphony’s expanding portfolio of workflow and market structure solutions. He engages closely with key market micro-communities and partner ecosystems to ensure our market-specific and enterprise solutions deliver relevant and impactful workflows and experiences to key groups within financial services.
Prior to Symphony, Krishna spent a decade working at Bloomberg, building out their Enterprise Data Services business which encompasses Reference & Pricing Data, Real-Time Products, Regulatory Solutions and their Quantitative Platform. He spent the first part of his career at Citigroup, working in their Global Structured Credit Products division with a focus on collateralized debt and loan obligations (CDOs & CLO’s).
A 2010 recipient of The Feminist Press’ “Top 40 Under 40”, Nadella is a recipient of the Smeal Alumni Service Award and an Alumni Fellow at The Pennsylvania State University and the Arch Award from McMaster University. In addition he has written for and been interviewed by multiple organizations including Bloomberg TV & Radio, LinkedIn, Catalyst and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmys).
A board member of multiple institutions, Nadella currently serves on the Financial Instruments Board for the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) and is an Advisory Board Member for Funds4Food. He previously served as the president of the Graduate School Alumni Society and board member of the Smeal MBA Alumni Advisory Board for Penn State University and as a board member of the McMaster University Alumni Association.
Jim has worked in financial technology for over 25 years, with experience in credit and fixed income trading systems, credit derivatives technology, and FpML and XML.
As Chief Client Experience Officer (CXO) at Symphony, Jim is responsible for continually improving and delivering a better experience for Symphony clients over the entire client journey.
Prior to Symphony’s acquisition of Cloud9 in 2021, Jim was the Chief Operating Officer responsible for the lead definition and development of new features for the Cloud9 platform.
Before joining Cloud9, Jim was CTO and Co-founder at InterNex Capital, where he led the technology planning and build for InterNex’s asset-backed alternative lending platform. Prior to founding InterNex, Jim co-founded trueEX, where he was CTO and a member of the board for five years. Early in his career, Jim was the Director of U.S. Credit Derivatives Technology at Barclays.
Jim holds a BSc in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
Outside of Cloud9, he currently serves as a Mentor at StreetWise Partners for college students on business skills and startup ideas, works as a Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity International for disaster and humanitarian relief, and is an expert on the Scalability Panel for Katerva, helping to find, evaluate and accelerate disruptive sustainable innovations from around the world.
Nader Girgis is the head of strategy at Symphony. In this role he drives and executes the company strategy in close partnership with the CEO and the executive team. His current focus is the company’s business acceleration and scale up journey as Symphony delivers a more modern networked market infrastructure for the global financial services industry.
Nader holds an MBA from London Business School and brings broad commercial and international experience, having lived and worked in Europe, APAC and the United States, while performing a number of senior roles in sales, marketing and business operations.
