At Symphony, we are always delighted to be recognized and honored by the partners with whom we do business. When we earn an award in the realm of security, one of our core values and a foundational pillar of our platform, we are especially grateful and proud. This is why it was such a pleasure to accept the 2019 ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Execution Award from our partners at BlackBerry.
Many Symphony users access our mobile app through a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution—especially those who work for large, global organizations. MDM solutions bolster enterprise security by allowing organizations to administer, control, and protect mobile devices used by employees, while maintaining flexibility for employees to use their own personal devices for work. For example, MDM solutions allow firms to separate business data from the employee’s personal data, as well as to wipe the device remotely if it is lost to in order to protect sensitive or confidential data.
Since 2016, we have partnered with BlackBerry to make Symphony accessible via their MDM solution, starting with iOS and then expanding to Android users in early 2017. As the number of Symphony users deploying our mobile app via the BlackBerry MDM continues to grow steadily, we have worked with BlackBerry to deliver an ever-improving user experience to customers.
We thank our valued partners at BlackBerry and are proud to be recipients of this award recognizing “innovation and leadership within BlackBerry’s global partner and channel ecosystem.” Last but not least, we look forward to continuing our work together to ensure our shared customers can jointly use Symphony and BlackBerry’s solutions simply and securely.
