Symphony names chief revenue officer and announces new commercial structure

New York and London, October, 19, 2021 Symphony- the leading markets’ infrastructure and technology platform – has named StreetLinx co-founder and former CEO Gary Godshaw as the company’s chief revenue officer (CRO). In this newly created role Godshaw – who joined the company in August when Symphony acquired StreetLinx – will lead Symphony’s commercial organization and execution globally, including strategic account management, solutions, and client experience.

“Gary is a capital markets veteran with decades of experience leading high performing teams and markets businesses. His experience and industry profile is recognized by our clients, investors and securities industry stakeholders,” said Brad Levy, Symphony CEO. Levy added the CRO role wil be key as Symphony delivers its strategic plan: Prime23. 

Additionally and as part of the company’s commercial structure, Symphony has named Jim Miller as chief client experience officer (CCXO). Jim joined Symphony when the company acquired Cloud9 Technologies (C9) – where he serves as chief operating officer – in June. Jim will own the B2B client experience, from the initial interaction and every touchpoint thereafter, seek improvements based on data and implement best practices across the board. He will also continue with his current C9 business operations activities. 

Also joining the team is industry veteran Marie Patton, who has assumed the role of managing director for APAC. In this newly created role Marie will lead and execute Symphony’s strategy in APAC across revenue generation, brand awareness, location strategy and product development in partnership with respective global leads.
