He defined Microsoft’s unified communications strategy (Skype for Business) and as head of collaboration services at Thomson Reuters introduced federated communications to the financial services industry. Before founding Perzo/Symphony, he was VP and GM of Skype’s Enterprise Business.
David Wilson has a 15-year track record of creating and realizing value as the CFO of Technology and Communication companies in the private and public markets. David was most recently the CFO of Ooyala Inc. where he played a lead role in its sale to Telstra. Prior to this, he was the CFO of ACS (NASDAQ ALSK) where the stock outperformed the sector by 14 times securing an enterprise value of +$1 billion; and was the Chief Accounting Officer of Telocity Inc. supporting its successful IPO and subsequent sale to DirecTV. David began his career with PwC working in the UK, Czech Republic, Vietnam, and US. David is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
Derek DiPerna has been innovating and building advanced communications systems globally for over 20 years. During his 9 years at Microsoft, Derek led sales, technology, and partner teams and acted as GM to commercialize forward-thinking mobile communications and services. Most recently as President of Advantest’s W2BI group he led global sales, R&D, and customer teams focused on innovative test solutions for wireless communication systems. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Eran Barak has a talent for building a widely successful business. Over the past 20 years, he has held senior leadership positions at companies including VocalTec, CellGlide, Thomson Reuters and Amdocs, where he helped build the companies from the ground up. He holds an Executive MBA in Finance & Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Goutam Nadella is a proven leader with a unique blend of product, technology and business development experience. At Symphony, he leads global programs across the firm to execute on Symphony’s revenue and business objectives. Prior to Symphony, he spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs leading the development of industry-leading electronic trading products and 1 year as Chief Product Officer of REDI Global Technologies.
Harry Patz, Jr is a veteran tech and media executive. Most recently Patz was Global Chief Revenue Officer for ad tech firm Rubicon Project. Additionally, Patz spent twenty years at Microsoft Corporation, most recently as a Partner and Vice President of the Communications Sector North America for Mobile, Media, Video, Cloud and Enterprise. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Management from Boston College.
Jonathan is passionate about internet communications. Since the beginning of the category he has worked on industry leading projects with Microsoft (MSN Messenger, Lync, Skype for Business), Skype and most recently Wire. He is a successful entrepreneur, having co-founded and sold Camino Networks to eBay in 2006 in addition to his service on numerous advisory and board positions.
Kim has more than 19 years of progressive HR, Operations and IT experience in the social, technology and mobile industries. Prior to joining Symphony, Kim held senior HR roles at Google, Skype, Ampush and Cisco and played instrumental roles in the development of successful start-ups including Skype, Wildfire Interactive and Ampush.
Lawrence is an experienced Financial Services technology leader with multiple patents and has a strong track record in the industry. A former Managing Director with BlackRock, Lawrence was Global Head of Development Services with the firm’s Aladdin Product Group. He was also member of Aladdin Product Group’s Executive Committee, and was closely involved in the formation of Symphony. Prior to joining Symphony, Lawrence was with BlackRock for 11 years, and JP Morgan Chase for 6 years.
Leah Cohen-Shohet is the Executive Vice President of Growth & Adoption at Symphony, where she looks after customer adoption and continued usage of the platform. Prior to joining the founding team at Symphony, she was in a Strategic Investing group at Goldman Sachs, evaluating emerging tech trends across strategic areas of the business. She co-founded two startups before joining the industry, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University.
An engineer at heart, Mike has developed a knack for building the right technology to make startups successful for more than 22 years. This is evidenced by his role in the successful startups Assured Access, Verilink, Madge Networks and Teleos Communications.
Thomas Kiessling has a record of successfully building product teams and scaling businesses across the globe. In roles that include Chief Product Officer at Deutsche Telekom AG and CTO at Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG, Thomas has proven himself as an innovator and a leader and was featured in Europe’s Top 100 Digital Influencers in 2013.
