Workflow automations are at the centre of how financial institutions operate. Aligned with this new normal, Symphony hosts hackathons in New York, London, Paris and Asia (Hong Kong or Singapore) in order to promote the development of innovative automations in a competitive setting. Earlier this summer, Paris hosted its third hackathon – completely digital, of course- with the participation of six teams, including sell side, buy side and partners, for a total of 40 participants.

Meet Alfred and Bernard: Symphony’s Developer Certification Program Assistants (And Our Newest Bots)

Recently, we introduced two new bots to provide administrative support for our Developer Certification Program: Alfred and Bernard.
With more than two billion users around the globe, WhatsApp is ubiquitous in our personal and professional lives. Now imagine the reach and convenience of WhatsApp integrated into a platform like Symphony, which satisfies the highest security and compliance requirements that govern communications around the globe. This is especially important for regulated markets such as financial services.
We achieved a new milestone for Symphony by hosting our first digital event. More than 700 people tuned in from over 40 countries around the world, from home offices featuring snowy backyards or sunshine and sand, to hear how key players in the financial services industry are dealing with the effects of COVID-19 and to watch demos of their solutions.
